NOt ENTIRELY Nudes
AMBIGUOUS REVERIE - One of my early drawings catches a woman in a very ambiguous situation. Is she dressing or undressing, in bed or on the beach? In fact, this image was created from a photo of a woman outdoors on a rooftop with the wind blowing her hair. I use the contour line to draw the boundary between identifying information below and her body above.
PASSION - A combination of ArtDeco and modern styles. This was created very early in my experience with Acrylics; the heat of the color dominates and communicates what I had in mind.
AFTERGLOW - The warmth of passion spent is communicated by multiple layers of golden ochre mixed with Glossy medium. Acrylics dry so quickly that it is possible to paint many layers in a single session.
RELAXED CHAT - In front of a roaring fire, it is possible to discuss issues without the intervening layers of clothing that can detract from our attention.
ON THE BEACH - My conception of an uninhibited woman seeking a companion to enjoy the surroundings.
LANGUID INTERLUDE - Sometimes people just zone out and go into a dreamlike state. This piece was created to reflect such a moment.
